It was reported that Super Junior Choi Si-Won will be taking over the role that seemed to belong to Kim Hyun-Joong in Iris 2 – Athena: Goddess of War. Prior, there was a speculation that Kim Hyun-Joong will be joining the drama but didn’t work out. Choi Si-Won will be acting the role of newbie NTS (kinda like CIA) agent who follows another NTS agent Jung Woo-Sung as his mentor. Other than Jung Woo-Sung, Iris 2 boasts all star cast including Cha Seung-Won, Soo-Ae, Lee Ji-Ah, and SNSD Yoona.
SNSD’s YoonA will be taking a special role tomorrow as she’ll be an MC for the World Cup festival on the 17th.
Alongside YoonA will be comedian Kim Yongman and SBS announcer Yoon Hyun Jin.
The festival is being held specifically for the upcoming South Korea vs Argentina World Cup match and has a hefty list of artists attending such as Cho PD, Super Junior, f(x), SNSD, MBLAQ, ZE:A, and more as they cheer the nation on.
The first festival held for South Korea’s World Cup opening game against Greece was MC-ed by Lee Hyori and Kim Yongman back on the 12th.

Lee Seung Hwan picked Sandara Park instead of Yoona.
Lee Seung Hwan starred on the talk show KBS 2TV “Sketchbook” and revealed that if Yoona and Sandara Park came to audition in front of him, he would choose Sandara Park. He said that Sandara Park is his “style” of girl.
Lee Seung Hwan then asked the host if he liked Kara’s Gu Hara or f(x) Sully, the host answered “Hara for the old memories.”

F(x)’s Krystal’s making quite a few apologies this week – after apologizing to the whole netizen body past this week for her rude attitude she’s shown on air, the girl made yet another apology to SNSD’s member YoonA, for taking her lead role for the music drama, Melody.
Krystal had been recently cast for a role of a girl named Yoona, which YoonA of SNSD (the matching name is entirely coincidental) has originally been penciled in for. However, due to inevitable scheduling conflicts, YoonA had to bow out.
The production team believed Krystal was an ideal replacement, with her unique style and feel. Many netizens also agreed, as they believed that Krystal shares many identical features with YoonA, both personality and appearance-wise.
After learning that she’s actually taken YoonA’s role, Krystal felt apologetic and expressed her feelings publicly for her senior.
Music drama Melody has been written, produced, and directed by Oh Joon Sung, who is famous for being in charge of many successful dramas in the past like Boys Before Flowers, Prosecutor Princess, and Witch Yoohee.
He praised Krystal’s performance by commenting, “Despite her young age, she’s professionally expressed the complex emotions the character has in the story.”
Netizens were very angry with the last two episodes of “Family Outing 2“. They wanted to see a “Wonder Girls Special” and instead they recieved ” The love story of Taec-yeon and Yoo-na“. Netizens and fans alike were very disappointed in the outcome of the episodes. It focused solely on what they called “forced” love connections. The program felt like a pre-scripted mock variety show to them. They flooded the show’s message board with negative and disapproving comments. So,what do you think? On June 3, 2010 a charity + exhibition is held by top brand Cartier under the title “Cartier Love Day” in which the brand presented their Cartier Love Collection.
In the event, Cartier presented their “Love Summer Bracelet” collection which is previously known for using 11 celebrities for the photo exhibition. The celebs are: Rain (Jung Ji Hoon), Ji JinHee, Kim Hyunjoong (SS501), U-Know Yunho (TVXQ), Kim HeeSun, Son YeJin, YoonAh (SNSD), Yoon EunHye, Ha JiWon, Kang Ji Hwan, and Lee MinHo.
The event took place at Cartier boutique located at CheongDam-dong, GangNam-gu, Seoul. ”Cartier Love Day” is held in order to deliver the message of love and will be held for 10 days from June 4 – June 13,2010.
