Yoona hosts SBS World Cup Cheering Festival

Young rising star and Girls Generation member, Yoona will take on the post of MC for the cheering festival for the highly anticipated match between Korea and Argentina on June 17. This festival will take place in Kangnam.

For this matchup, Super Junior, Girls Generation, MBLAQ, F(x) and other idol groups will show their support with live performances.

Let’s pray that Korea can make it to the top 16 this time!

SNSD’s YoonA to MC the upcoming World Cup festival

SNSD’s YoonA will be taking a special role tomorrow as she’ll be an MC for the World Cup festival on the 17th.

Alongside YoonA will be comedian Kim Yongman and SBS announcer Yoon Hyun Jin.

The festival is being held specifically for the upcoming South Korea vs Argentina World Cup match and has a hefty list of artists attending such as Cho PD, Super Junior, f(x), SNSD, MBLAQ, ZE:A, and more as they cheer the nation on.

The first festival held for South Korea’s World Cup opening game against Greece was MC-ed by Lee Hyori and Kim Yongman back on the 12th.

Family Outing 2 continues the Taecyeon and Yoona love line

Despite the widespread criticisms last week, it looks like they are continuing down the same path judging from the footage from the June 13th episode of Family Outing 2.

This episode welcomed Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In andKARA’s Nicole on the show as family guests, and with one of their filming locations at Damyang Bamboo Park. With the bamboo trees as backdrops, the make-believe couple of Jo Kwon and Ga-In were encouraged to take a romantic walk.

But the spotlight soon fell on Taecyeon and Yoona as they held hands and did the same romantic walk, which ended with Taecyeon copying the same ending move from the Cabi MV with Yoona, as he said, “You are the best bamboo shoot” instead of best Cabi. Yoona also teased Taecyeon with 2PM’s Without U dance while he was cutting bamboo. Taecyeon then helped Yoona to beat Heechul in a game.

Viewers have commented that excessiveness of one thing can lead to resentment and are blaming the FO2 PDs, rather than Taecyeon and Yoona.

Jo Kwon revealed a photo of himself, Taecyeon and Yoonafrom the set of Family Outing Season 2 on his twitter.

The photo was taken at a bamboo park where the three “family” members crouched together and posed. Jo Kwon wrote, “Yoon. Taec. Jo  The air was so nice at the bamboo park ha.”

Netizens said, “Yoona is pretty and Taecyeon and Jo Kwon are cute,” “It’s a lovely family. I hope they continue this atmosphere” and other encouraging comments.

The photo was released on June 13th, after the broadcast of SBS Family Outing Season 2. In this episode, the family visited the Damyang Bamboo Park.

Lee Seung Hwan picked Sandara Park instead of Yoona.

Lee Seung Hwan starred on the talk show KBS 2TV “Sketchbook” and revealed that if Yoona and Sandara Park came to audition in front of him, he would choose Sandara Park. He said that Sandara Park is his “style” of girl.

Lee Seung Hwan then asked the host if he liked Kara’s Gu Hara or f(x) Sully, the host answered “Hara for the old memories.”

Why Goo HyeSun cried when she met YoonA

Goo Hye-sun started to tear as soon as she met SNSD’s Yoona.

At WinWin program, Goo Hye-sun states that, these days she really likes SNSD’s Yoona. Through SNSD’s choreographer, Goo Hye-sun found out Yoona’s telephone number. Since then, Goo Hye-sun and Yoona have texted each other but have never met in person.

Yoona was the second surprise guest for Goo Hye-sun.

Goo Hye-sun became tearful and was very excited to see Yoona. Goo Hye-sun said, “It is so nice, I cannot stop the tears.” Yoona said, “When Hye-sun unnie texted me that she likes me, I was so amazed.”

MC Taeyeon who is the leader of SNSD said, “It is interesting that two people who are as pretty as dolls like each other–it is like similar people meeting similar people.”

What purpose had singers, idols and talents gathered at one place?

A photo taken featuring some of the popular idols and talent revealed online has been garnering much attention from netizens.

In a post written by a netizens on a portal site recently titled ‘The christianity gathering of the celebrities’, a photo revealed So Nyeo Shi Dae YoonA, SooYoung, Tiffany, 2NE1 Gong MinJi, talent Jung RyeoWon, Kim SooHyun and Super Junior Choi SiWon were seen for a shot together.

Also on 2nd June, SiWon also posted up a photo at his church gathering taken together with talents Jung RyeoWon and Jung Joon and singer Soy. SiWon wrote in the tweet, “Rest in God!! No Shame, No Fear!!:D”.

Jessica says Goodbye to Happy Birthday, SNSD vacationing, YoonA in Paris?

Back in April, we reported that SNSD / Girls’ Generationmember Jessica would become a regular guest onKBS2TV’s Happy Birthday. After being on the show for a little over a month, Jessica bids farewell to the show. Jessica stated that she really enjoyed her time on the show and she also showed off her quick-wit on the show.

The reason she’s leaving is because SNSD needs time to prepare for their upcoming overseas activities. However, before the overseas promotions begins the girls will have some free time. And it seems some of the girls are using that time to vacation. Taeyeon was recently spotted in Singapore and there’s reports that Tiffanyis in Los Angeles. In addition, Sooyoung was spotted in New York and YoonA was reportedly spotted eating lunch at a cafe in Paris. There’s no word on why Yoona is in Paris but it makes me a bit curious why she would be there, if we find out we’ll let you know.
