T-ara will have BIG CHANGES

Korean pop group T-ara [Core Contents Media]

Korean girl band T-ara, who recently sparked rumors of feud among members, will soon be going though “big changes,” according to their agency Core Contents Media on Friday.

Core Contents Media said in a press release that agency head Kim Kwang-soo will be releasing an official statement regarding the future activities of the group on July 23, adding that no other comments will be given before then.

The agency further explained that the forthcoming changes will be made on a group basis, not on an individual level, to sort out any issues there may be between the girls.

T-ara drew talks of tension among members when Jiyeon and Hyomin each posted questionable comments on their Twitter pages on Wednesday.

Ji-yeon had written, “I have been too focused on charging forward. Maybe I should stop now” while Hyo-min remarked, “Why are they giving me such a hard time? What did I do that was so wrong? I don’t have the strength to go on living and work hard.”

However, the agency dismissed talk of any friction, saying the two were merely “complaining of their too-busy working schedule” and that rumors of the members fighting or breaking up were “groundless.”

T-ara, who debuted in July 2009 with the single “Lie” and “Wanna Play,” is composed of Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon, Boram, Soyeon and Qri.

They released their first studio album “Absolute First Album” in December 2009, which produced two hit singles “Bo Peep Bo Peep” and “I Go Crazy Because Of You.”

Several members have also branched out to acting; Eunjung is currently starring in SBS TV series “Coffee House” while Hyomin and Jiyeon will soon be appearing in upcoming drama “My Girlfriend is a Fox with Nine Tails” (SBS) and summer horror pic “Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp,” respectively.

Nichkhun’s ideal type Eunjung and Victoria

2PM Nich Khun reveals his ideal type of girl before meeting his make-believe wife on We Got Married.

On MBC We Got Married aired on 26th June, Nich Khun boarded the bus to meet his make-believe wife. And in the midst, Kim NaYoung appeared.

Kim NaYoung asked Nich Khun, “You should have someone you want as your wife. If that person is from So Nyeo Shi Dae, who is she?” Nich Khun answered, “Even though I’m sorry to TaecYeon, she’s YoonA.”

Nich Khun added, “EunJung from T-ara and Victoria from f(x).” as his ideal type of girls.

And it turned out that his make-believe wife on the show is f(x) Victoria.

The 2 made the first foreigner couple on the show.

RaNia member T-ae [DrMusic]

Singer T-ae has been cast as the female lead for Hollywood film “Hype Nation” starring former boy band 2PM member Park Jae-beom.

DrMusic, in charge of managing T-ae’s girl group RaNia, said Tuesday that T-ae will play the role of Park’s younger sister in the b-boy film about a dance contest between an American dance crew and South Korean dancers.

T-ae was recommended for the role by famed hip-hop producer Teddy Riley who has collaborated with Park on tracks for Snoop Dogg, Daz and T-Pain.

The entire RaNia team, composed of seven members, will also perform in the movie by producer Young Lee.

“I’m extremely happy to appear in a Hollywood even before my debut…… I know what a great opportunity this will be for me. I will do my best,” T-ae was quoted as saying.

RaNia is said to be preparing for a debut in July and are planning on expanding their singing career into the U.S. shortly after.

Meanwhile, Park is the ex-leader of the now six-man band 2PM who quit his band last September after comments he made on his MySpace account before his debut surfaced and stirred nationwide controversy.

He was expected to rejoin the group earlier this year but officially parted with JYPE for good in February over “a huge personal wrongdoing.”

Park had been staying in the U.S. since, dancing with his b-boy crew Art of Movement and preparing for a debut in the U.S. music scene through collaborations with Dumbfoundead and Riley.

Most recently, he signed with U.S. online media company Digital Media Wire (DMW) to manage his career in the entertainment business.

Park, 23, is expected to return to Korea soon to shoot “Hype Nation” which will be shot 70 percent in the country.

Super Junior claims Mutizen triple crown on Inkigayo 2010 World Cup Special

Having been off air for the past fortnight due to the Dream Concert 2010 and World Cup 2010 documentary broadcasts, SBS’s No.1 music program Inkigayo finally made its return on June 13th with its 576th episode!

And what better than to have a World Cup 2010 special episode, especially in the aftermath of South Korea’s World Cup opener win against Greece last night by 2-0, thanks to goals from defender Lee Jung Soo and captain Park Ji Sung.

With 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung away in the States for the Wonder Girls tour,Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Shindong partnered f(x)’s Sulli for today’s episode.

And Super Junior were the big winners this afternoon as they collected their Mutizen triple crown all in one afternoon for their hit song, BONAMANA. T-ara Soyeon, “After my withdrawal from Girls’ Generation, I experienced envy”

Soyeon of the girl group T-ara confesses she experienced envy to Girls’ Generation before.

T-ara appeared on the June 10th episode of the tvN talk show, “Taxi”. Soyeon was originally a part of Girls’ Generation (SNSD) and revealed she felt envy watching them on stage.

Soyeon said, “During Girls’ Generation debut they received a lot of cheers, I experienced a different attitude of envy towards their success. I hope I can receive success that quickly, I thought.”

Recently, T-ara’s 300 days after their debut appearance had happened and the member Eunjung became a part of the SBS drama “Coffee House” (why she was unable to show to the broadcast). Soyeon said, “Before I used to have a neat image like the recently short hair of Eunjung for Coffee House.”

Hyomin and Jiyeon both mentioned that her image has changed a lot from pre-debut and looks the best now.

Girl Group T-ara has hit the Jackpot with their online shopping mall!

Tiara’s Tiara. com online store has about 50 million visitors since it has opened last February and has more than 20 million won in monthly income and has over 600 million won in income since the shopping mall has opened. It is currently ranked 3rd place in overall shopping malls (ranking survey) due to it’s tremendous success at the shortest period of time.
