Big Bang member T.O.P. for his solo single “Turn it Up” [YG Entertainment]

Big Bang member T.O.P. has released a teaser video for a new solo single, according to a press release from his agency YG Entertainment on Thursday.

YG announced in a press release that the teaser video for his solo single “Turn it Up,” featuring the singer portraying a luxurious appeal in various suits and accessories, was unveiled on various online music sites today.

¡°Turn it Up,¡± which was first introduced to fans during Big Bang¡¯s solo concert ¡°Big Show,¡± will be released through online music sites on June 21.

The new track will also be featured in Big Bang¡¯s upcoming album ¡°2010 Big Show¡± two days later.

¡°I’ve been busy filming movie ¡®Into Fire¡¯ and now I want to concentrate on my music career with Big Bang,” the 22-year-old singer was quoted as saying. He also revealed that the rest of his group has been working on their new album.

T.O.P., whose real name is Choi Seung-hyun, made his debut in 2007 as the rapper of the five-member boy band. They are considered to be a huge cultural icon for youngsters in Korea.

T.O.P. crossed over to acting with his appearances in the TV series “I Am Sam” and in the blockbuster smash hit “IRIS,” where he played an assassin.

He is currently promoting upcoming war pic ¡°Into Fire,¡± where he plays a student soldier, which opens in Korea tomorrow.

World Cup Style: G-dragon vs TOP

Idol group, Big Bang (G-dragon, Tae-yang, Seung-ri, Dae-sung, TOP) appeared at the Hyundai Fan Park in Seoul on June 11, 2010. All of the members had interesting World Cup fashions, but G-dragon and TOP stood out the most.

G-dragon went for the denim look, matching a red t-shirt with a dark blue denim jacket and matching denim pants. He also accessorized with blue-framed sunglasses, looking very patriotic in red and blue. Instead of his usual bling-bling look, G-dragon kept it simple with just two silver rings.

TOP, different from his usual charismatic look, opted for the age-appropriate cute outfit. He also wore a red t-shirt but paired it up with a black jacket with intricate zipper detailing. He matched with jeans and an interesting red hat. The red hat grabbed a lot of people’s attention because it had a sun cap and sunglasses attached to it.

G-dragon and TOP both looked great, but whose World Cup style do you prefer?

Considering the fact that Sean would obviously know about the in’s and out’s of YG Entertainment’s upcoming plans, the chances of this update being a fluke are pretty low. However, fans should keep their fingers crossed until official comeback news is announced.

Big Bang to perform at Asia-Pacific Global Tolerance with Music 2010 in Japan

Bigbang set off to yet another gig in Japan next month, and it’s for a good cause! Yg Entertainment’s leading male idol group will take part Asia-Pacific Global Tolerance with Music 2010 on the 24th of July, which was organized by the United Nations.

Big Bang winning three awards in VMAJ

Big Bang Special on Arirang ♥

Arirang TV’s Pops in Seoul recently aired a special on the boys of Big Bang. It’s a comprehensive program giving the history of Big Bang, from their selection via the television series Big Bang Documentary to their journey into Japan.
